For sale: 1975 Ford Falcon XB GT Sedan

This genuine matching numbers XB GT is one of only 1,950 XB sedan GTs built, in what was the last of the GTs before the marque was reintroduced in 1993. The seller of this example holds the Ford verification letter, which can be inspected on request for the car’s full original specifications. We are informed that the vehicle is a matching numbers car.

The XB model differentiated in many ways from the XA, but perhaps most significant to its appearance are the colour coordinated bumpers, which give a more sporting appearance and flow nicely with the contrasting wheel arches/rocker panels. This example is in its original Tropic Gold on black, and the paint is immaculate. All panels on the car appear straight and gaps are even – the vehicle is accident-free. It currently sits on chromed 12-slotter mag wheels, and has its original white vinyl interior – also in great condition.

The only significant modification to this particular example is a conversion to the 4-speed manual transmission – much better for the driving experience. However, as an option the 3-speed auto transmission makes this a particularly rare car, which could be easily converted back if the subsequent owner desired. The engine bay is in excellent original condition, with the original Ford Corporate Blue contrasting nicely against the Tropic Gold firewall.

The car drives well and is ready to be enjoyed by the next GT enthusiast. For further information or to arrange an inspection, please contact George by clicking the contact seller button above.
