1957 Land Rover Series I Pickup / Ute

This is a great example of a very rare and what is becoming a very vollectible type of vehicle, the series 1 land rover. The iconic front rolling bumpers and the tall canopy are now becoming iconic symbols of british engineering of the in the 1950s. As you can see by the photographs this vehicle is currently in the state of a project car and will need to be lovenly restored from its current state. This series 1 currently has a 2.25l engine from a series 2 installed but hasnt been working for more than 7 years, a full rebuild of the engine and gearbox would be needed for this car to become roadworthy. The tray that is currently fitted is also home made and is not origional. 90% of parts for this car is included in its sale (late februsry 2017).

There is some minor rust in the usual places but nothing on the chassis which makes this car a perfect restoration job for someone looking to get their hands dirty.
