This one was spotted on carsales Australia in late 2018. Previous owners have done an exceptional job protecting this beauty from the elements keeping it alive well beyond its life expectancy. Vehicle has undergone a paint and mechanical restoration in Japan. Interior is original and nothing short of amazing, the dash pad is completely original and showing no signs of fatigue as are the seats looking as good as they did when new.
The details of this 1275 LS were provided through our LS facebook page, and at this stage we've only got a shot of the vehicle compliance plate. Nonetheless, another piece of the manufacturing record histpory for the 1275 LS Minis.
There are quite a few of the original estimated 800 cars now on our online 1275 LS register. If you have one or know the details of one, please contact the author of this page to get it onto the register.
This 1275 LS project needs some TLC, but most of the bits are there including the disc brakes. For the necessary body repairs, a spare shell is included in the sale.
Unfortunately, the seller notes that the car is fitted with an 1100cc engine rather than its original 1275 unit. However, the car does run and drive in its current state, with the brakes needing a tune up. The correctly numbered 1275 engines do occasionally come up so its possible to convert this one back to a matching numbers car with a bit of patience. According to the 1275 LS register, the majority of cars built in August came in Nugget Gold, with the Hi-Ho Silver being more prevalant in the later months, up to October 1978.
Interior trim is provided with the car, however, it is not the original trim (which is quite difficult to source). The car is located on the Melbourne side of Ballart and is being sold on behalf of a friend. Please contact James for further information by clicking the contact seller button above.
Spotted on trademe NZ in November 2018 asking $15,000. Looks to be a good solid example of an original Corona hardtop. 42,900 genuine kilometers. This car really has to be seen to be appreciated. The owner noted upholstery and carpets are unmarked and it has its original rubber floor mats. It also has the rare National cockpit stereo from new.

Spotted in 2018, this SSS 200B looks to be in complete condition, and mostly original. Would make a great project - spotten on facebook marketplace in November 2018 asking only $4,400 AUD. Not many of the SSS coupes are still around and we think they're going to take off in the next decade.

I'm looking for a Leyland Mini 1275 LS in good original condition. It does not have to be perfect, but preferably minimal rust, original engine (with correct prefix) and not heavily modified. The car needs to be running.
I'm located in the Blue Mountains NSW, and will consider all cars in Sydney, the mountains or surrounds. In terms of budget, around $12,500 is what I expect to pay. I'm not fussed which colour (Nugget Gold or Hi-Ho Silver).
If you have a car available somewhere in that budget and in the vicinity described, please get in touch by logging in and clicking the contact button above.
I look forward to hearing from people. Adam.
Another coupe spotted - this one asking $44,990. Likely a dealer car as that's the highest price we've seen in Australia to date. Looks to be in fairly good condition (some tearing on teh driver's seat bolster the only real issue)..

1 of 33 Canadian Export cars - This Mk2 LoCort is particularly rare. First, it was built in the first month of production for the Mk2 Cortina Lotus versions (March 1967), so it has many holdover parts from the Mk1 LoCort including: 3-rail gearbox, Lotus on both banks of the valve covers, Lotus badges on rear quarter panels, plus rare gauge pod on the dash. All of these features went away in Fall 1967 with the Mk2 Series 1b version of the LoCort. Second, it's color is rare (Alpina Green) as most Cortina Lotus cars were Ermine White.
This one has been advertised for quite some time - asking $14,000 AUD. Looks to be in excellent condition, and closeish to original (a few modifications have been made). Good to get another 998 LS on the register - it's been a while since one has come up!
