For sale: 1956 Cadillac

1956 Cadillac Series 75 Fleetwood Limousine up for sale. Just over 2000 of these factory limousines were built, and there are only a handful in Australia. 

This car was purchased from Unique Specialty Classics, INC in Mankato, Minnesota in 2010, and imported in early 2011 after having an extensive mechanical overhaul. $13,000 USD was spent on on the mechanical overhaul in September 2010. The brakes, cooling system and many other miscellaneous items were reconditioned. Invoices for all work completed come with the car - images attached. 

Following this work, the car was shipped and arrived in Australia in March 2011. All import approval paperwork is with the car. The engine is the original 6.0L (365 cu in) Overhead Valve V8, with a 4-speed Hydramatic automatic transmission. The car has been in dry storage since 2011. The body does have rust that requires attention before it gets on the road, particularly in the sills and front floors, and the paint obviously needs attention. New floor pan panels come with the car, along with various trim pieces and a new rear glass window (in the box pictured). Original cloth interior is complete.
