1960 BMW Isetta 300

The first one on our register, this original BMW Isetta single cylinder microcar was advertised on trademe.co.nz, finally selling for $17,650 NZD in early November 2018. Looks to be in solid condition. At the time of sale, the seller noted the following comments: 

This Isetta was going well and regularly driven around Ashburton by the current owner prior to being driven to the Ashburton Vintage Car Museum for storeage over 30 years ago. (last reg/wof 1980). The engine has not been run since that time but it still turns over by hand, understandably the compression is low and I note the carburetor slide is now missing. All photo's were taken with care to show the condition as accurately as possible and also show any areas which need attention. An honest original low Mileage/km's car in suprisingly good condition. Most notible feature is the almost complete absence of rust, a very easy restoration. (see photo of small patch of rust in guard). Owners manual and Maintenance manual (has a solid leather look cover) are both included. These are genuine originals.
