Up for sale is our project 1965 Ford Thunderbird convertible. This car was imported in 2012 – import approval comes with the car.
It was originally built at the Wixom Michigan plant, has the 390 Z-code V8 with 4-barrel carb and the 3-speed Cruise-O-Matic transmission. We don’t have a lot of history on the car, other than to note it last resided in Utica New York, and was shipped to us from Staten Island, NY.
The body has rust. The front floor pans need replacing (new floor pans come with the car). The rear floors and trunk floors look fine. There is rust in the guards, as pictured.
The car ran years ago. The engine turns by hand but we haven’t had time to refresh fluids and get it running. The wheels have been sandblasted and 2-pak painted black, & have good tyres fitted. All the stainless trim parts are there, sitting in the trunk.
Inspections welcome on either 5th September or 20th September, located Southern Highlands NSW. Unfortunately we won’t be able to arrange inspections prior to 5th September.
