1968 Renault 8 R8 Gordini

This beautiful and presumably genuine example of an R8 Gordini was advertised on Autoscout in France, in mid 2023. Asking a huge $79,900 Euros, these have taken off in price throughout Europe in particular - examples can be had for a bit less in Australia, South Africa, or outside the continent where they are less known. These were a fantastic rally car, competing in the golden era of rally that was the 1960s. This one looks immaculate. From a brief look online, there were about 9,000 R8 Gordinis built. This one is the later 1300cc engine variant.
