1969 Ford Cortina MKII GT

This Cortina GT 440 (MK2) was asking a big $60,000 when spotted on Facebook Marketplace in January 2023. The car looks in good order, but we hadn't realised prices were this high. The GT MK2s are one of my favourites as they are basically a miniature Falcon GT - and add those stripes as they did to the Australian models from the factory, and it's a great looking little sports sedan.

The 440 was the higher spec model with the 1600cc engine. A 4-speed manual was standard, and it was only available as a sedan in this format.. A coupe would have been very cool though..
