1971 Leyland Mini Clubman GT

Advertised on Gumtree Australia in October 2021, asking $24,500 AUD.. The seller didn't disclose any VIN, but it does appear to be a genuine rare early 1971 clubman GT - the seller notes it has all correct numbers and a 9fXE engine. The body has had rust repairs completed, new sills / jacking points, inner sill repairs, doorsteps,  A panels, front flare strips. There were.previous poor accident repairs which have been fixed: The r/h outer and inner guard with other panels l/h guard removed so inner guard could be repaired and put back on new front panel with cooler mounts re-spot welded all repairs in etch primer not hidden under fill so you can see repairs done.

Unfortunately (like most GTs) it is missing its basketweave trim due to having a custom recaro trim but the seller has replaced it with trims from a 72 clubby in black (headrests removed) in good condition. The car's rego expired in 1994. Another on the register -  lots of the hard work done :)
