1973 Leyland Mini Clubman GT

Yet another NZ Warrior GT has survived - of the 200 cars that were delivered to NZ, I'm consistently surprised that we discover new ones up for sale all the time. This one was spotted on Trademe NZ with a starting bid at $40,000 in August 2022. It Looks to be fairly original and complete, but has obviously had an engine tidy up at some point. In the original advertisement, the seller noted the following comments:

"I have owned this mini since 2003, in 2004 it was repainted and the motor reconditioned. It has had very little use recently hence the decision to sell it. Has just been in for a tune up and it is running like a dream. Full photo history of the restoration is available, car was nearly completely rust free pre restoration and still is. Will come with all of the paperwork that I got when I purchased the car - old style ownership papers etc. This GT retains most of its original fittings and features. Original rostyle wheels with original center caps Currently has Clubman S front seats fitted as they are much more comfortable than the GT seats but the original GT seats come with the car. Original steering wheel also comes with the car, currently has Mountney steering wheel fitted. Has original GT gear knob. Comes with a set of GT stripes (not fitted)."
