Just clinging to life, this 998 LS was advertised on FB marketplace in January 2023 asking $3,000. The car is a wreck, with floors and roof rusted through very badly - common on the LS as it had a vinyl roof.. Due to poor record keeping toward the end of Leyland's time in Australia, it's not known how many 998 LS Minis there were built. Silver Blue was a popular colour and constituted most of them we believe, and surely there would be less than 1500 built..
