1977 Leyland Mini 998 LS, spotted on Facebook Marketplace in June 2023. The seller noted that the car has had the same owner since 2005, with an engine refresh back in 2006/7 with a 30 thou bore. The gearbox wasn’t done at that time. RC40 single box exhaust, 12G295 head, electronic ignition, rebuilt carb and upgraded needle (AAM). The seller noted that the gearbox has started to show signs of needing work. The syncros aren’t working well on down shifts as I need to double clutch it.

Closed door Respray in Silver Blue Body (factory original colour) (and Midnight Blue Roof with all rust removed in 2015 - no vinyl was reapplied to the roof). The car was noted as having New carpet. 

A few issues with the interior, and small oil leak. But looks like a great solid example of this late model Australian SE mini!
