1996 Mercedes C140 S500 Coupe

Spotted on Lloyds Auctions in February 2022 - not sure what it will sell for but I'd expect mid to high teens (noting it has about 200K on teh clock - which isn't too high for these cars). The car is an Australian delivered example, but interestingly appears to be a very late changeover car before the facelift. It's definitely a 96 model built car - built in Feb 96, but does not have  the reversing / parking sensors, and is still badged as a S500. So it makes me wonder when exactly they started being badged as a CL.. It does however have the upgraded wiring harness, new power steering pump as well as the later model AC controls etc - so it's sort of a part-facelift vehicle.. My July 1996 car certainly had the updated badging and reverse sensors, so perhaps it was a mid-96 thing in Aus...
