2006 Ford Fairlane BF Ghia

The last of the Australian Fairlanes (from the penultimate year of production) - this dark grey BF Ghia was advertised on FB marketplace in July 2026, and asking just $8,500. That's a lot of car for the money.

These later B series benefited from the 6-sp ZF transmission, and of course the indestructible Barra 190kw straight 6. Full leather, 2-tone paint, piano black dash fascia and woodgrain accents. It doesn't get more Australian luxury than this. They are not particularly rare yet, but in the coming decade I suspect that will change.
