Chairman spotted for sale on https://www.beforward.jp/ - from its home town. Looks to be in excellent condition, but mileage unknown. Based on the W124 Mercedes sedan, the Ssanygong Chairman enabled the W124 to effectively extend its life over more than 20 years (and why not given Merc put so much time and effort into designing the W124). Still curious about how much of the underlying shell is...

This Chairman was advertised in QLD Australia on Gumtree.com.au in November 2019. It was originally advertised as a a 2007 model, but a rego search confirms its a 2005. Low ks, buf not sure how well its been looked after, certainly going cheap asking only $1,000 - no rego at the time it was offered, NOt many of these sold in Australia.. We found this 2007 Ssangyong Chairman for sale on carfromjapan.com. I presume it was located in Japan, although it seems strange being a LHD car when the Chairman was also produced in RHD. Anyway, being an Australian I find the Chairman a fascinating car. Ssangyong has been linked to Mercedes for a long time, and the Chairman model is one of the strongest links, not only from a styling perspective...
