Spotted on Gumtree Australia in Feb 2021, this is actually a Replica 1275 LS - most of the bits have been transferred into a 1976 Leyland Mini S shell. At the time of offering the seller noted the car has been fitted with cooper S high compression pistons and twin carbs. has power brakes, sunroof, mini light 12inch mag wheels, and was owned since 1983. Big $$ at 28K.

1978 1275LS Purchased from Romsey in Victoria around 1995 - originally Nugget Gold. Full restoration from ground up. Non original paint code or trim, custom dash, 1275 engine with a little work and SC Gearbox. Standard flaring with 5.5 Mini Lites x 12. Brakes converted to 4 pot and booster added. This was going to be a quick fixer upper but ended up being stripped and built from the ground up.

It's been a while, but finally we've spotted another LS for sale to add to the register! This one was listed on Ebay Australia in November 2019. Looks to be very original, other than the wheels. Must have lost its 8.4 inch disc brakes at some point as it's sitting on 10 inch wheels.

1978 LS1275 rebuilt from the ground up. Stripped back to the metal. All rust cut out & replaced with steel. Floor sand blasted inside & out then coated with stone guard to protect against future rust problems.Engine is not the original but is era specific. Original wheels & hubcaps. An excellent original example of the 1275 LS, spotted for sale in September 2018 asking $21,000 AUD. At the time this one was offered, the seller noted it came with LS1275 number plates. It had new wheels and tyres, brakes, cvs, radiator and water pump etc. Drives well and is in fairly good condition.Interior original but driver seat has a small tear. This 998 LS (converted to 1275) was advertised on Gumtree in February 2017, asking $16,500.. One of an estimated few thousand built, with far fewer on the roads today, this example is not original, with afternarket paint, trim and of course the motor, and the addition of the RHS tank. Not much left of this example currently advertised on Ebay Australia, but there aren't too many that come up. This is the 57th 1275 LS on our LS register, and we hope it finds an enthusiast purchaser to restore it to original specifications.
