This rare 1275 LS was added to the register in January 2017. It is currently the second earliest (chassis number) on the register, on which we now have details of around 70 1275 LS cars. The current owner purchased this car in 1994, and has had the vehicle in storage, with the intention of having Mini specialist Ron Williams undertake the restoration in Tenterfield NSW. This 1275 LS was advertised in December 2016, asking $15,000 AUD. The car appears to be relatively original, with only a few bits missing - perhaps an easy restoration depending on how far you wanted to go. $15,000 for an unrestored LS is a bit much at this time, but perhaps the seller is just warning off low-ballers. 1275LS was offered on Gumtree Australia in November 2016. The car claimed to have no rust, and was asking $6,500 firm. Altough unconfirmed, a contact notified us that this car was inspected, and it is believed that the 1275LS front was installed onto a new body.. Not 100% confirmed, but just suspected.. Either way, another rare car for the register, and a survivor worth preserving.

This 1275LS shall was offered for sale on Ebay in November 2016, and reached $1,500 final bid. The shell was described as relatively rist free, but unfortunately came without any running gear or subframes. One of only 800 cars built, and of 400 in this particular colour. This 1275LS, the 4th last produced, is unfortunately believed to no longer be with us (according to forum discussion on Ausmini).
