1984 Nissan Silvia S12 Gazelle

This very original factory auto Gazelle was on FB marketplace asking just $6.500 AUD in July 2023. I think that's a pretty good price considering the condition looks fairly good  although to get it on the road you would probably need to spend a couple of K. The S12s didn't have the benefit of the SR20 engine, and in SOHC form (like this one example), only had about 100kw. So, it would be a fairly underwhelming car to drive in its current form. Unless you were a stickler for originality, this would make a great SR20 conversion project. I think the shape of these cars is very 80s, back in fashion, and has a lot of potential. I'd go for an all-silver paint job - could look a bit like the Hyundai N74 concept.

In the original ad, the seller did note that there are small amounts of rust in some areas, and the Interior presents well with no cracks on the dashboard (the driver's seat has some tears). The car was offered with service history dating back to the 80s and original dealership booklet and manual. The seller noted that the engine runs very well with no smoke - and the auto trans shifts smooth.
