A neat example of the Fairlane Sportsman, advertised on gumtree.com.au in February 2023. Many of these AU Fairlane's held up well over the years, and this one has relatively low mileage for the type of car. A nice two-tone old school paint finish with black leather, it looks the part, and is by far my favourite model of Fairlane based on interior looks - Very Lincoln like..

This example has the straight 6 VCT engine - good for about 170kw. Not spectacular by today's standards, but these engines are very good / reliable units (the AU series finally sorted out head gasket issues that plagued earlier generations (although, they improved yet again in the next generation, with the BA gaining DOHC.

This example was asking $7.000 at the time - not far off a good deal for a neat example.
