INFO GUIDE: 1988 Nissan Skyline R31 Silhouette GTS1 (SVD)

This guide has been written for the Nissan Skyline Silhouette GTS Sedan, produced in limited numbers by Nissan Australia’s "Special Vehicles Division" (SVD) in 1988. Although officially known as the Silhouette "GTS", enthusiasts and the media have attributed the "GTS1" name to this vehicle to distinguish it from the updated SVD GTS released in 1989. For clarity, we have therefore referred to the car throughout this guide as the GTS1. Built in very low numbers, these Skylines have a strong following and are recognised as a unique piece of Nissan Australia’s history. Classic Register is also currently drafting a SVD

Follow this link for information on the pre-March 1955 Samba bus. Although the 1955 – 1958 vehicles are

INFO GUIDE: 1966 Pontiac GTO (Coupe, Hardtop & Convertible)

This identification guide has been drafted for the 1966 Pontiac GTO. For the 1967 Pontiac GTO guide, please click here. The 1966 GTO was the first to be offered as a distinct model, rather than an option package on the Pontiac ‘Tempest’, and featured new styling cues which further distinguished the car from others in the range. The result was particularly positive, with the 1966 GTO recording record sales. Today, the 1966 model GTO is a particularly desirable muscle car, with all variants demanding high prices, but particularly so for high specification and original matching number cars. Although a 1966

Please note, we intend to draft an additional guide for the base model RS Turbo C, a vehicle which shares the same mechanical features as the RS-X, but without the 'luxury' equipment specification level of the RS-X. Although these Skylines are not as famous as their later R32, R33 and R34 successors, they are becoming more desirable due to their excellent performance, motorsport heritage and their relative
